Aaah Pregnant MOH

MrsCoombs2be, 18 February, 2012 at 21:21 Posted on Planning 0 6

My Maid Of Honour has told me today she is expecting!! (Yay)!

She'l be 7months gone when the wedding day is here, anyone got any ideas of where i can find nice floaty bridesmaid dresses? Preferably in purple.

Thought this week id found the perfect dresses for the 3 of them, now im having to rethink!

Thanks

Kim xx

Were they having matching dresses? If yes, keep 2 and as she's your MOH, she can have a different one. ASOS have some lovely maternity dresses as do Dessy.

This did cross my mind for her to have a different dress. As funnily enough she has a gorgeous floaty one from her sisters wedding last year in the exact colour our scheme is. But thought it may look odd with them not all being the same.

I havent actually brought their dresses yet just found one that they all liked :-)

I wouldn't have thought it odd if they had different dresses but were in the same colour ?

Agree with Dumblespud. Don't think it would look odd them being in different dresses - especially as your MOH will be noticeably pregnant

It is quite usual these days to have different styles but same colour for BMs to suit shape and personaluty so that sounds great especially as she already has it

My moh is having a different dress to the bridesmaids anyway (all the same style/fabric but moh is floor length and bridesmaids are calf length) i don't see it as a problem and think its quite nice. i found some really great dresses on e bay when i was pregnant and had various events and weddings to attend. floaty chiffon empire waisted dresses can be worn when pregnant, just take into account that the length will need to be a bit longer!
