Just got the idea from SG on the introductions thread. Maybe just bounce occasionally for newbies? HIB - Hitcher in Business

H2B/W2B - Husband/Wife to be

IYS(K)WIM - If you see (know) what I mean

TIA - Thanks in advance

HTH - Hope that helps

BM - Best man/Bridesmaid

FG - Flower Girl

MIL/FIL Mother in Law/Father in Law

Just a few to start (as my mind has gone blank) but please add as you see fit?

I used to be the person that kept the abbravaition thread going, it was made into a part of the site but that disappeared with the forum update

this is an old copy of the rough list there are more recent ones that arent on there and its not spell or grammer checked

AF - Aunt Flo, ie periods

AFAIK - As Far as I Know

AIBU - Am I Being Unreasonable?

    ATM - at the moment

    B2B – bride to be

BM - Best man or bridesmaid

Bridezilla -(bryd.ZIL.uh) n. [by Kellfi] A bride-to-be who, while planning her wedding, becomes exceptionally selfish, greedy, and obnoxious ; Or [by Elviscat] It basically means brides that are so wrapped up in their own little wedding world, they forget to be rational and start going crazy about silly little details being wrong. I.e the best mans socks not matching the bridesmaids knickers etc.

    BTW- by the way

    BT - Baby Talk

Bounce or ? - to bring a post to the top of the list (the smilie can mean other things)

    IIRC - If I Recall/Remember Correctly

IMO - In my opinion (also IMHO honest opinion, humble opinion)

    IRL - In Real Life

IYKWIM IYSWIM - If you know/see what I mean

KB - Keyboard. A computer one, not the musical instrument

Troll - someone who comes onto a forum just to bait people and cause a ruckus. Often this person assumes a cartoon like false identity for the express purpose of pushing people's buttons. Sasha Cohen of Ali G fame is an IRL troll when he takes his characters to people and tries to get a reaction. Sometimes a regular member of a forum will open up second and third accounts for their trolls just to liven things up a bit.

DTC is Determined to conceive, a littler nicer sounding that desperate don't you think?

MTTTC - mid term trying to conceive (ie after about 12 months I think - I didn't get that far before I go my BFP ?)

MINOS - mums in need of sleep

    LO - little one
