I run a very small business to add to my income from my full time job.

At the moment I keep all my books manually, but would like to change to some kind of computerised system soon.

Does anyone know of any kind of free software available that would help me keep basic accounts?

Or am I just being too hopeful ?

    Some banks give away basic accounting software when you open a business account with them. Have you got a business account? If you have you could always ask your bank if they have anything they can give you.

    Lloyds TSB gave me some software when I opened my business account with them. Infact, I never used it as I just spreadsheeted my accounts. You're welcome to it if it's of any use to you?

    Yes I've got a business account. I didn't think to try them actually, I'll give them a call in the morning. If they don't have anything I'll get back to you if that's alright?
