Activity packs for the kids

*J9*, 7 October, 2013 at 14:49 Posted on Planning 0 14

I'm after some suggestions for things to include in the activity packs for the children.

Boy aged 8, boy & girl aged 2, and girl aged 3.

I've already got bubbles for them but not sure what else to get. The 8 year old will be fairly easy but are the little ones too little for crayons and colouring books?

I'm doing activity packs for my children and nieces b nephews aged 1-5 and I've put bubbles in and pencils, colouring books and stickers. My two are aged 2 and 3 and Borg love to colouring in and play with stickers. I've put in some princess dress up tiara, ring n necklace for girls and foam airplanes to make and little dinosaurs for the boys.

    Hope that helps you.

Thanks, I don't have any of my own so I wasn't sure if they'd be in to colouring yet. I guess they can have a good scribble on the pages if nothing else ?

Those ages would be fine for colouring in books and some crayons im sure Smiley smile Will keep them occupied even if they're just scribbling!
Could throw in a little toy train / dinosaur etc for the boy and some a little doll or teddy or something for the girls?
Sure you'll find something nice sure theres loads of ideas on ebay I just can't remember them haha Smiley smile

I'm doing this too with similar ages, and one thing I'm including is blow up guitars, saxaphones, things like that! Thinking they will be used on the dancefloor and may make good photo's and keep adults entertained too!

Ive made up activity packs for my nephews and granddaughter aged 12, 13 and 3 respectively. Each pack is in a little red, drawstring, bag (red being the colour theme)

The boys have a pack of playing cards each. Colouring pencils and a quiz book (word searches that kind of thing)

My granddaghter has stickers, colouring pencils and little colouring book

The Mother in Law 2 be also wants one so am looking for ideas for her as a little joke lol maybe she could have bubbles lol

we did these, handed them out in church and left a box box of pencils, the kids then had them for the service and on to reception.

My nieces went mad for sticker books at 2-3 years old - you will just need to make sure your venue doesn't get covered in stickers though! Kids seem to love sticking stickers on things that they would leave alone with crayons (even then that's not 100% guaranteed!) I also found personalised boxes for these occasions for £1.85 a box with their name and nice label on it.

As for foam planes I managed to get 24 for £3.20 including delivery - why let the kids have all the fun?!
