Advice Needed - colours

*Loula**, 10 March, 2012 at 19:34 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hi All,

I'm having a mini dilema...I really have my heart set on sage green bridesmaid dresses but my hubby to be would love to have a navy suit. Has anyone seen these colours work well together before or is it best to avoid as they'd clash??

apologies for the tiny picture but this is the best I could get.

not necessarily this suit but this colour.

Thanks in advance! x x

My oh is having a shiny blue suit and spotty blue bow tie (light blue spots) and originally sage greens were going to be our colour with hints of pink as seen in a mag, however I do think they clash a bit so we changed to dark dusky pink for the girls and light blue for the men. Oh is the only one with a blue suit, the rest'll be in grey suits with skinny ties and braces

I think they work well together. I love navy - quite wish we had gone with it!

I think they'd work well together actually.

So do some others! Have a quick read of https://www.stylemepretty.com/2008/08/04/color-palettes-3/ - maybe add in another accent?

I think they're great together, but if it were me, I would also throw in some pale yellow. The colours would really pop!

Yes, this is a bedroom, but it's the right colours. The lighter blue looks great, too!

Here's a yellow, white and green bouquet tied with navy ribbon!

I think navy and sage green would go together nicely. I prefer the navy/green/white combination shown in the moodboard above, plus it would be easier to coordinate for a wedding.
