sammi23, 9 February, 2012 at 18:40 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 2

I have currently got listed a non working mobile phone. Someone has bid and then emailed asking for a buy it now price (i have said no) just checked now on laptop and they are the highest bidder and from macadonia (sp?) i had a bit of bother from someone from abroad a few months ago and lost out on £33-took it as bad luck.

If these guys decide not pay i obviously wont be sending it but if they pay then recieve the phone then cancel the paypal transaction where do i stand?! (this is what happend last time!)

Can you not just state that the goods will be sent once the transaction is complete and you have the money in your account? I know that this has been the case when i have bought stuff on eBay and to be honest I can understand the caution. I did find that once I didn't receive the goods but eBay protected me as the buyer and refunded the money.

I hope that you manage to get it sold okay!

Just a note for future listings...you can choose to make it available to UK only, EU only, etc.

If you do end up sendingit make sure you send it international signed for and get them to pay for the postage as it is expensive, but you will need to be able to prove that you sent it if you do end up in a dispute.
