Advice on finding a good Wedding Photographer who covers the Leamington Spa / Stratford upon avon / Warwickshire Area

☹️ I hate it when I see this mentioned, my studio prices are higher than what I get for weddings but I love wedding photography the most and we have to be competitive with other photographers, I wont go in to the cost of being a professional photographer but if I broke it down you would be shocked at how little some photographers get for a wedding.

Hi Bruce , thank you for your reply , i understand where you are coming from , i must admit though when it comes to most things with weddings , i seem to see the price goes up once the word wedding is mentioned, i was even told by one place , when i asked them to explain the pricing , when offered some rather political type responses and after asking further questions , the final response was " Everybody charges more for weddings !"

But Bruce rest assured that was not from a follow photographer though ! :-) Please accept my apologies for any hurt feelings .

?? No need to apologise honestly, I wouldn't normally reply or say anything, I think it might be the 4 day virus I am just getting over so my apologies to you for replying the way I did ?. I do know what you mean and I have come across it while planning not only my sons wedding but my daughters wedding as well? but it seems to be other suppliers and not photographers.

My daughters company charges per hour (Caravan Photo Booth) for weddings, parties and corporate events?. Basically what I do as well but my pricing is on what you want as a end product, distance and how long you want me at the wedding. Yes there are some photographers that charge more for little but then you really have to research photographer, its a minefield with so many new companies starting up that I can see why so many couples cant decide on a photographer?.

It all depends on what style you want though as we wanted a reportage photographer that captures the day rather than posing for endless photos. If you don't like the reportage style then maybe he's not for you but we love his work. The business is called 'Lucius Fox Photography'
