Advice please... Iron on diamante transfers

Hi, I have ordered transfers for vest tops / tshirts for my bridesmaids to wear on the morning of the wedding and wondered whether the ribbed type tops or just plain cotton are best??

I had tried to look online but cant find any answers!

I don't know the answer for certain, but common sense dictates plain rather than ribbed, surely? With ribbed, some if your diamantes might sit on two adjacent ribs and pop off when the fabric is stretched.

I also ordered iron on diamontes with the pictures indicating that it would be perfect size to iron on my something blue pants (sorry knickers, it was wedding after all) and it arrived on an A4 sized transfer sheet, my bums big but that would've needed proper apple catchers.

I know you,re doing teachers but I thought I,d share, made my sister laugh.
