Hyacinth, 22 August, 2009 at 16:00 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 5

Fark me, I have just stubbed toe so badly not only did I nearly pass out, but I heard my foot CRACK.

I'm supposed to be doing a 10k run later, but thats probably not going to happen. Any tips to ease the pain?annoyingly we don't have a freezer so no peas!

Poor you! Are you sure it isn't broken? Paracetamol and codeine (co-codamol) tablets are pretty strong for painkilling. Hope it starts to feel better soon.

I thought it was broken to be honest, but the pain has subsided and now my foot just has a dull pain. I said to MrH if it swelled up I'd go to the minor injuries place but its hasn't really so it seems fine. It was a shock more than anything.

NO theres not anything you can really do- I broke mine about 5 years ago after my friend "big" carol Danced on top of my foot at my birthday day party. They strap them up.Its worth getting an x ray though just in case you've hurt other parts of your foot.

    (PSA for potential broken toers!)
