Air Brush Make Up

Peter, 5 August, 2011 at 02:52 Posted on Planning 0 5

I have been a sort of supporter of airbrush make up from the results I have seen on photography jobs.

That said. one of my close friends is married to a TV makeUp Artist and has reported back a couple of issues that I thought worth mentioning as we have had a few posts recently from brides to be asking about this new "technology".

The claim is that during the applications, the bride would need to hold breath for longish periods to avoid inhaling the particles and that the make up artist should apparently wear a mask to avoid exposure to the same "droplets". This sort of implies that the particles in some way are detrimental or possibly detrimental to health if inhaled.

As a guy who knows very little about make up, it would be useful to the brides if any make up artist could elaborate on these comments made to me. Possibly the tV industry is being over careful....perhaps some of the MUA Hibs can advise.....
