Aisle music advice please

HappyOrangeConfetti420, 23 November, 2016 at 21:47 Posted on Planning 0 2

Hi my lovelies- some advice needed please!

I get married so soon (10th December) and am yet to sort my aisle music out!

I love I Giorni by Ludovico Einaudi and thought I wanted this...the trouble is 1. It's such a long piece and I don't know how to edit etc to make it suitable for coming down the aisle and 2. I'm not sure if it's too sad?!

Any advice would be really appreciated- especially if anyone has had it before/is going to have it. How have you worked round length? I have 4 bridesmaids, no flower girls or anything though.

If I can't figure it I may just go for canon in d and play this before I come in- but this one gives me the goosebumps!!

Thank you in advance Smiley smile

Hello! When you reach the end of the aisle the registrar or a member of hotel staff just switches your music off. So it doesn't matter how long the piece is.

You only need to tell them where to start it.

Honesty, for me if it gives you goosebumps is the one!! Our leaving music is funny and silly, but for us it's right Smiley smile Choose what works for you! I'm entering to Ramones - Baby I Love You not a traditional choice but perfect for us xx

I love I Giorni too! I've got a brilliant pianist called Simon Jordan playing it for me and he will bring it to a natural close as I reach the top of the aisle. He's then playing it later on the violin :-)
