All change ..... (with flash)

So we cancelled the wedding we were planning which was getting out of control.

We had planned a church, followed by an outdoor blessing, reception in a barn, 120+ guests, a hog roast buffet, sweet table and cupcake tower. Medieval themed with a purple, gold and silver colour scheme, dressing up, jesters and fire eaters with a DJ for the evening.

We now have : 25 close family in this castle:

A royal blue and silver colour scheme for the wedding party.

An intimate family dinner in a nearby resturant.

We have also moved the date forward to 8th July!

    I think I know that castle!! It's Castell Coch!!! It's not far from where I am from!!

    YES! Love it - I grew up in Llantrisant, and used to drive past it very often when I was little. Mum always told me it was the tooth fairy's castle and the white bits at the top were all childrens fallen out teeth, and thats why she left pennies for them.

    Ahhh brilliant. I'm from aberdare and went to uni on Pontypridd. I used to love visiting there as a child. Have known quite a few friends/family that have had their wedding there and the said it was fantastic.

    It's the perfect fairytale castle and has featured in many films...

    Wow your orifinal wedding sounded amazing, but I must admit I prefer the sound of the new arrangements more.

    It will be so special having those you love most share your special day with you.

    Well done on making the change, can't have been an easy thing to do.

    And good for you for being brave enough to be honest about the situation - it takes a hell of a lot of guts to admit that you aren't happy with the arrangements and to implement change. Trust me.

    Your original wedding sounded great but if it wasn't what you wanted then well done changing it before it was too late. Your new venue looks gorgeous, hope you enjoy the build up now you are doing it the way you want to.
