Thats it. Two weeks to go this Friday and i think i am there with all this organising lark. The only thing i need to do is bake my wedding cake and take pictures for a big flash.

Oh god im so excited i think i may burst..haha

Ooh, it's good to find someone else who is baking their own. What are your plans? I've done my fruitcake and obvs will do the sponge later, but can't decide how to decorate.

You're brave doing your own cake. I love baking but there is no way I could do my own - I'd burn it or something with it being such an important day! My 'everyday' cakes always turn out well, the 'special occassion' ones always go wrong! Good luck!

Its a sickly chocolate sponge with a glaze finish and cigarellos all the way around each layer, 3 layers in total. To decorate i already have my suger paste flowers done (cheated on that bit, got someone else to make them), they are cala lily and thistles.

I must start taking photos of everything before i finally pack it ready for the venue.
