teeheeyoucrazyguys!

All these daft things keep cropping up....

teeheeyoucrazyguys!, 7 April, 2009 at 09:23 Posted on Planning 0 7

Last night OH and I were having a discussion about 'the doorkeys'. As it will only be my and BM leaving the house I thought 'what will I do with the doorkeys??!' And my ideas ranged from hiding them in the garden to giving them to my father to pass to OH later on in the day.....

I dont even know what I'm going to do with my engagement ring as I cant wear it on my other hand, might have to purchase a little silk purse and ask dad to look after it for me in his suit pocket till after the ceremony...

i'm sure there will be plenty more of these little queries and issues as time goes by...

and now I'm inviting the couple who are doing our wedding cars, every weekend hes driving brides about whilst shes stuck indoors and they have known me since I was little have been a good ear to bend so I decided last night, 'If ive invited my hair dresser whom I've only known a year then i'm inviting the car people too!' and OH agreed. For the evening like.....

and im getting to try my dress today, with my basque, wooooooo.....

I thought that first line said 'the donkeys'?! What donkeys? Ok I understand now.

We have had a few discussions about things and I think at this moment we are going to have some big suitcases coming to the venue. Also I just know something is going to get forgotten. I am going to leave my OH a checklist for when he leaves the house.

That's a nice gesture of you to invite them.

Thought I'd leave a support message for you on here since you've been helping me with my curls issue! Hehe!

I know how you feel, you think once you've got all the suppliers booked that you're done but oh no! The little things are taking over my life! Try to write them all down as they will pop into your head randomly and pop back out again just as quick!

I know exactly what you mean, it's the little things that are the hardest things to sort out for me, like we're having a discussion at the moment with the rest of the family about who's sleeping where the night before the wedding, who's getting lifts with who to the church etc! arghhhhhhh!

I told h2b that his mum and dad will have to take a case for me for the night time and the following day as a wedding car will be picking us both up. H2b from home and me from my mums. Otherwise the dress will have to go back on, then again its an excuse to wear it again ? Wonder if I could just forget to pack a bag? ??

Aw....I'm so not getting involved in all that! It may sound selfish but I'm just leaving all my guests to sort themselves out, I've got too much to think about with getting myself ready!

I suppose logistics isn't really something that most people think about till the last minute, at least now when I start planning, I'll know to remember these sorts of things. Thanks teehee

Could you give your ER to your BM so that she can wear it and give it back to you after the ceremony?, as for the door giving it to your dada is a good idea, at least then you know it won't get lost ?

Hope you're posting pics of your dress ?
