Alnwick Gardens

Not seen a wedding there, but we went to Alnwick Castle when we had a holiday in Durham last year and the gardens there are STUNNING!! Could totally imagine a wedding there!!

Mrs K2b I have never been in the castle but went to the gardens a few weeks ago and they are stunning and we have fallen in love with the venue. They actually had a wedding the day we went so we saw it set up for a ceremony, one thing I don't like is the fact the public can all see the ceremony as it's held in the pavilion which is all glass.

If we do pick it then we will get round this by having the ceremony around 6pm after closing which is the sort of time we had in mind anyway. The other big reservation I have is that they are not dog friendly and as such my two fur babies can't come and because they aren't allowed on the grounds I wont even be able to get a photo with them. This is important to my oh as well as the girls are our children and were at our engagement.

We also spoke to someone who said they had been quotes 7grand to set the fountain to music!
