No! Naturally you're excited. Keep looking and gather ideas. As Elixia says you won't be able to book a registrar yet but start to think about the kind of wedding you'd like. Keep a scrapbook or Pinterest board ?

I'd recommend not booking anything yet as you may change your mind about things as you start to discover the kind of wedding you'd both really like.

My OH proposed in August 2012 and we are getting married in August 2015. I didn't make any hard and fast decisions for the first year of the engagement but instead just enjoyed collecting lots of ideas and seeing what I liked.

There is no harm in looking, and if you find something/a supplier that you like it will mean you get in early before someone else books it

We're not looking to get married until at least 2016 but I'm thoroughly enjoying the quiet time to myself before we tell anyone so that I can gather ideas and get my head around what sort of wedding we want, not what sort of wedding we're meant to want.

No! It will be good to have plenty of time to think and research about what you both want. There are so many different options for dresses, hen do's, favours, photographers, honeymoons etc these days.

Best advice is do not book anything yet as you might change your mind, like a client I just booked, they had already booked a photographer 2 years ago but then saw a wedding I photographed for one of their friends. (they never told me they already had booked another photographer).
