Am I weird?

My sister-in-law in Italy had a 'best man' instead of a bridesmaid and a good friend of ours has asked my H2B if he'll be her 'maid of honour' when she eventually gets married! Oh, and my FBIL had a female usher. She looked gorgeous in her suit!!

Some people are still going to find it a little shocking, but most will be absolutely fine with it!

I went to a wedding in july and the groom had a best woman, these days i think its quite normal.

My uncle had a best woman! I think it's down to you really - shouldn't matter to anyone else!

Forgot to mention - I jokingly said to best woman that she'd have to wear tails and a top hat and she really like the idea now! Think that will have to change though...?

I've been to a wedding where there was a Best Man and Best Woman! the speech took forever as they split it between them...

BW wore a suit to match the men but with a corset underneath in the BM dress fabric....

Its your day and weddings have evolved so much in the past few years- and its not weird at all - go for it! x

I dont think its wierd I think its a really nice idea...who says your best friend has to be same sex & who other than your best friend would you pick for best 'man or woman' I really like the idea!
