Amazing RAF

Just read this story and am seriously wowed!

Poor pilot though. Hope he gets better soon.

    Wow indeed. I can't begin to imagine how terrifying that must have been for the blinded pilot. Go RAF!

    My family have always been RAF and I've got a soft spot for the organisation - very dashing

    My dad just sent me a link to that story. I had no idea the RAF still practiced shepherding. Great story, and I hope the pilot recovers well.

    They had the footage of the RAF pilot talking him down on Radio 4 earlier - was very moving.

    Showed great skill on the part of both pilots it has to be said. I do feel sorry for the civilian pilot as I imagine he will now lose his licence and never be able to enjoy that freedom of flight again.
