OMG OMG OMBG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its 26 days until i get married! i took the FG dresses and all thier other bits & pieces to my mums last night on my way to work, Tuesday i will be going to collect my dress and also my sisters dress and shoes to take to my mums, mum then wants us to draw up a plan of the day/morning - think shes starting to panick! Then all we have left to do is finish the table plan pay the final balance for our venue and the kilts when we collect - they should be in around 10 days before.

Onto the make-up question, it suddenly dawned on me last night at work that my mascara i was planning to use is NOT waterproof, now usualy i wouldnt worry but ive been quite emotional of late and im almost certain i will end up crying at some point during the ceremony, so HEEEEEEELP please i need to find a good mascara that gives fab long looking lashes but is also waterproof, any recommendations girls?? x

I've found the Maybelline Waterproof is good...takes an age to get off though.

I only ever use Lancombe, definicils, bit pricey, but worth it.

I agree with Mel B, price wise Maybelline is good and does take ages to budge, you need to use baby oil or something. I also rate diorshow only cos Ive had the mini ones and theyve been good!!

Not long to go now, scary isnt it!!!

Have you thought about having them tinted at a salon? Im thinking of having either extentions or tinted to save mascara down the face

I've personally not heard great things about the benefit mascaras. i've tried many many mascaras (i'm *such* a beauty junkie....) and i used l'oreal waterproof volume collagene. lancome mascaras are good, but my personal fave is clinique high impact, though tragically they don't do it in a waterproof formula.

ETA - if you are feeling over emotional, i would also highly recommend investing in some rescue remedy. it works absolute bl00dy wonders.

Hi, i havent been on here for ages....since i was planning my own wedding 4 yrs ago!!!! omg is it really that long!!! lol

Anyway...have you tried clarins? they do a seal that you put over your normal fav mascara and it makes it waterproof! I used to work for no7 for years and i dont recommend their mascaras, i had mac on my big day but it didnt really give me enough volume!

    hth! xjx

I've been thinking this question for quite some time, did I write this in my sleep!!! Lots of different ideas, hopefully I can find one of these recommendations myself that has lots of volume (with help from my essential eyelash curlers!).

I'll keep an eye on this thread (if I can find time to come back on hitched!!
