Whilst I'm waiting on Charlotte's nurse getting back to us, I wondered if anyone here has any knowledge about it.
Charlotte (3years) is on some drugs that suppress her immune system, so she is more susceptible to infection (apparently...she hardly ever picks up bugs though...). She goes to nursery in the afternoons and is due to finish for the summer tomorrow, so two more sessions.
H picked her up yesterday and there was a note up about swine flu - I called this morning and apparently it is a nursery child with confirmed swine flu, and another has just returned in one of the older classes, after suspected swine flu. She wouldn't/couldn't tell me if it was the am or pm nursery session that the child with confirmed was in, the two don't mix at all, no child does both and they don't overlap (although the staff obviously see both lots).
I'm in a quandry now about what to do. Charlotte is excited about her last two days, where they have nice things planned, but obviously I wouldn't put her in a situation where she's at risk... but if the child is now off (and IS in her session), she'll have been mixing with the child already.
WWYD?
