Any crochet lovers on here?

tayto, 27 January, 2014 at 21:39 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 11

Anyone on here do crochet? Do you buy your wool on-line and, if so, where do you get your wool from? My mum is over from Ireland in a few weeks and has asked me to get some wool for her - it's for a christening robe so needs to be 100% cotton and "4ply soft cotton yarn".

Any help greatly appreciated!

I've started learning so I'll be following this as I've only seen it at hobbycraft.

I try to crochet- I really do. I end up throwing the wool across the room in a fit of rage though. I just can't do it.

Footers and ebony rose are crochet gurus. Hopefully they can help.

Yeah I've done this too - my poor mum has tried so many times to teach me but it just doesn't work, I've no patience whatsoever.

I shall wait for ER & footlong....

I've been learning to crochet as I was (and still possibly am) going to do shrugs for my bridesmaids, I bought on line (ebay) but now go to a local wool shop as the lady in the shop is really knowledgable and I'm not!

Do you have any sellers you could share with me? I did look on ebay but struggled to find 'proper' crochet cotton!

    This more luxury:

I always use Deramores. Normally free delivery over £25 and there's always codes on their emails each week
