Any good diets?

Futuremrsdaglish, 25 July, 2013 at 13:37 Posted on Beauty & Wellbeing 0 10

Hi girls!

I'm newly engaged and hoping to get to my ideal goal weight/size before I try wedding dresses on. I would prefer to try a dress for it to perfectly fit I stead of worrying about a fat back to get rid of! The last of my worries is to be stressed over my weight when I've got 50 million things to do for the wedding! Does anyone have any good diets or tips for me to reach my aim? X

    Hi Hun

I did the Juice Plus diet in the lead up to my wedding and so did my hubby - we both lost weight and reached our targets - i thought it was a brilliant product which worked well and was easy to follow and lots of yummy recipes to cook etc...

I t also benefitted my IBS and my stress levels.... I am now a Health and Weight Loss coach and as i was so impressed with the product (and still use it) I try to help others.

Like my page below which will give you more information and you can see other people who have achieved great results too.... and i post frequesnt tips and hints on health and diet.

I have also emailed you with more detailed info on the plan.

    Sally x

Hello there... (and big congratulations to you)

Have you tried looking into the Cambridge diet? I tried it and lost almost 3 stone in 2 months without exercising. I've heard of people losing a lot more a lot quicker, but everyone's body is different really.

There are many debates on what's healthy as a diet out there and what isn't, so just keep an open mind. What I do love about this diet is that it comes with a consultant who you see weekly for measuring/weighing. She/he kinda keeps you encouraged and honest. Plus it's great motivation to see someone else excited about how much you are loosing every week. My consultant was based in Radcliffe, Manchester and she was truly amazing!!!

The concept of the diet is basically around meal replacement shakes, and they do taste delish! Mint Chocolate was my favorite. Depending on your BMI, you might be forced to have at least one meal a day instead of going cold turkey with the meal replacements (which have all your required nutrients). They do also have some meals you could buy if you can't trust yourself to cook. I got a few for the odd days that I just couldn't be bothered to cook, and they do taste great!

Anyway, their website is www.cambridgeweightplan.com. Have a look.

Hope this was helpful. I wish you luck with everything xx

My wedding is right around the corner and for the past 3 weeks I have been doing a detox cleanse with my Fi. I feel so much better about my body and not tired as much, which is great because I have so many things to do still and need all the energy I can get to finish the last minute projects before the big day. This cleanse is great too because you aren’t starving yourself and just taking supplements or liquids. You are eating 3 meals with supplements. The one I have been doing is called Ultimate Reset- http://www.beachbody.com/product/detox-cleanse/ultimate-reset.do. Highly suggest it especially since you are so busy with things for the wedding this will not take time out of your day.

My fitness pal app + plently of cardio and toning excercises = weight loss

Dont forget any short term 'fad' diet will have a dtrimental effect on your skin, hair and nails so you need to keep eating as 'normally' as possible, just less of it!!

My story with Juice Plus... get in touch girls if you want any more info...

I have been on Juice PLUS for 5 months now and actually realizing how much it has changed my life around and how different it makes me feel is quite amazing.

As 2013 started it meant 1 thing… the year of my wedding, and as with almost every woman out there this was my dream and I wanted to make sure I looked the absolute best I could…. I had gained a few pounds that I wanted to lose and was hoping to achieve a toned body and fit in to my dream wedding dress. However, an unforeseen circumstance in the lead up to the wedding had caused an unbelievable amount of stress – I was turning to comfort eating which was not agreeing with my IBS, I couldn’t sleep at night and my emotions were becoming uncontrollable. Enough was enough, I had to do something – this was my wedding year, and the one time that I should have been feeling on top of the world and instead I was an emotional wreck and feeling pretty dam awful, not the beautiful bride that I wanted to be.

I thought back to the previous year when my fiancé had used a product called Juice PLUS to lose weight and I remember how this had also changed his self esteem as well. The more I read up about Juice PLUS the more I was noticing the common theme, weightloss, sleep better, better digestion, increase energy… I realised this was not about just having a quick fix but actually making a change to my whole health and lifestyle.

So I got myself signed up for the shakes and signed up for the capsules – and all I can say is WOW! – People don’t really believe it when they hear, “you notice results straight away”, but well I did! The capsules were brilliant. Within the week I noticed I was no longer craving high sugar foods, I was actually sleeping at night, emotions felt easier to control, I could switch off to things that I didn’t want to think about and I felt like I had more energy. Teaming this with the shake plan and having the motivation, energy and happiness to want to exercise I suddenly felt in a much better place. I was happy, I was getting the body back that I loved, my IBS calmed down, I was craving better food my whole appearance just began to look healthier and I actually felt like the beautiful bride I wanted to be.

June 28 2013 was the most amazing day of my life, I married the man of my dreams in my absolute dream dress and felt a lot lot more than a million dollars!

Now I wouldn’t ever go back…. The capsules each morning give me an amazing energy boost, the shakes kick start my breakfast off with something packed full of goodness and my outlook on food has totally changed. I am now not on a diet – I love how I look and feel – I understand health so much more and love to feel healthy. I crave nutritious food and know that I am fuelling myself with nutrients that will not just benefit me now but also in years to come. I am passionate about Juice PLUS and LOVE it…. I want to get the name out there more and get people feeling how I feel. Life is too short to not be happy with yourself and to not be able to do all the things you want to do… anyone can achieve what they want and love and live their life just like I do…..

    ^^ This ^^

However, IF you find you loose it at the weekend or struggle to keep calories down the fast diet/5:2 really is good. I lost 20lbs slowly but steadily by lots of exercise, cutting out carbs and religiously sticking to 1,200 bet calories a day. After 8 months, I needed bread and I find a day or 2 on the fast diet a week stops the weight creeping back on without the need for as many gym visits!
