Any helpful questions?

sineadw, 26 April, 2010 at 11:51 Posted on Planning 0 4

Im goin back to my venue today to show my parents and have a general chat with the co-ordinator again as ive not herd from them since we booked! i think i have all the basic things covered but i want to ask about candles, open flames etc. They r lovely but i do feel they are very laid back, probably because they are far more used to this than me, but is there any questions or things i may not think of that i should be asking them?

Very vague question i just feel like there could be so much we r missing?

Here are a few questions we asked when we visited the venue:

    • What time can guests enter the venue?
    • Do they offer a toast master?
    • What is included with your package? (E.g. the toast, décor)
    • Is the DJ included with the venue or do you have to arrange this separately?

    Hope this helps xx

Ah toastmaster thankyou! Tis may be a silly question but do the venues normally set up the decoration / centrepieces or do you do this yourself?

Unfortunately our venue cover the tables with a linen cloth and centre cloth to go with your colour scheme. We have paid a company called Lush Occasions to come and decorate the room properly which includes fishbowls, sprinkles on tables, table plan/name cards, cameras, favours etc, chair coverage, pilklat decorations, and funky Bayleaf trees that have lights in them.

Ask your venue for reccommendations on decor if they don't do this. Ours recommended the above and she is truly fantastic

    xx
