Does anyone know how to retrieve data from a freecom external hard drive? It looks like the on switch is broken so we can't switch it on. ?

Strip the case and hardwire across the switch.

Just remove the swich entirely and connect up the contacts either side.

We can't get into it without breaking it. Will probably have to take it somewhere to get it opened, thanks for your help anyway!
