Any June 2012 brides?

Hi

Mine is 1st June. We've booked the venur and the church. We had our first meeting with the vicar last week. We've also got the photographer booked and the horse and carriage. We just recieved our save the date cards and we're in the process of sorting them out to send. My OH has also kind of booked the band, well one of the band members is a work colleague and apparently the other band member have agreed to do it but we haven't worked out any details with them yet. I've arranged to go to see a florist next week.

I know what you mean about not knowing where to start. I've been making lists of all the things we've got to do and there's just so many things on my lists but a lot of them are things which don't need doing for quite a while yet. Although I guess I should really try to get as much done as soon as possible as we are buying a house and hoping to move in October. I have lots of ideas in my head but they just haven't materialised into something solid yet.

I bet Paphos will be lovely to get married in June, but I don't think I could do it. I don't cope with high temperatures very well. Have you been to the venue or have you booked it from afar?

Oh, I forgot we have also ordered our wedding rings and they are nearly finished! H2B's BM's dad is a jeweller and he is making the rings. he suggested we get them sorted out asap due to the price of gold going up daily at the moment.

H2B is visiting his BM at the moment and he says mine is done and his is nearly done. He's also bringing my ER back with him as he had to have it to make the WR fit around it. I can't wait to have it back on my finger!

Yup! 6th June at the MGM Grand in Vegas

So far I have done the following;

-booked the venue + venue for reception back here

- booked DJ for party here

- bought my dress

- sent out invitations to the 15 people invited to Vegas with us

and thats pretty much it!!!!

I'm the 23rd of June 2012.

I'm actually pretty organised for once.

Booked registrar, booked venue, booked TOG, ordered dress, suits ordered, wedding rings bought, Save the Dates sent, in the process of designing our invites and order of day (right now actually lol - OH and I are sat next to each other on out laptops, he changing fonts and i'm on hitched ), got insurance, and booked and paid for florist. Also got jars for sweetie table, and other little bits and bobs such as favour boxes and thank you scrolls.
