Any recomendations for kids activity packs, not to expensive?

queenofspain, 11 October, 2011 at 15:10 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hello

We are looking at providing some activity packs for the children at my wedding (want them to enjoy it as much as we will!)

I have 15 children under the age off 10, Has anyone used a company they could recommend? I want to balance an interesting pack for the kids, with a cost that isnt too expensive. I know quite a few people have made their own. I cant do this as I tend to get carried away and it will end up costing me a fortune!

Thanks

:-)

There is a hitcher who does these. If you're on FB look for Moon Onna Stick!

We got a big thick colouring book, and a pack of coloured pencils, for two quid a child from the pound shop - they had several different options but we went for the colouring book in the end. I'm not sure you can get much cheaper.

I still maintain that it is the parent's responsibility to keep their children occupied, and quiet, when necessary - and well behaved at other times, but if you want to provide something yourself then a colouring book is perfectly fine. Older kids will probably have a DS or something to amuse themselves so it might be worth picking up some AA batteries or something too?

You beat me to it! I wish the company had been around when we ordered ours.

I did my own and ordered bits from here /toys/pocket-money-toys.aspx?pmo=to

and the pound shop. I did nearly go with this though this though as they are prefilled but i had quite a vast age range including babies and there were only 5 to do so I personalised the fillings for each child https://stores.ebay.co.uk/Party-Parcels-and-Confetti?_trksid=p4340.l2563

Haha I did make a bet with myself that you would post that AJ! :-) for me these aren't about keeping the kids quiet. They can run screaming for me as we feel its all part off a child orientated family, which we are. These packs are so the kids can have a fab time. They can even have noisy toys in for them!
