I saw your post on ther Sandhole facebook page, os hope you don't mind me contating you! We have just booked our wedding here for two weeks after you on the 19th Nov, i am so excited but it seems such a long way off yet. Have you started any of your planning or chosen your caterers?

Hi great to hear from you. I know it does seem far away but since we booked the venue in November 2009 (so 2 years before our wedding) the months have flown by, its only 19 months now which sounds a bit scary!

weve booked the venue, sorted the caterers, weve used top table, and apart from that weve done nothing apart from start to save (which is proving difficult). ive set my self dates so that ive got things to look forward to, so in april im sending out save the date cards to give people major notice. in the summer im going to book the hen do cause were hiring a villa in spain so people need to start saving. oh ive also been to a wedding fair at the venue which was good, i decided on my colour scheme as a result of it. Weve gone for sweet apple green, soft gold and black with a butterfly theme.

id say start by setting yourself a wedding file up, nothing fancy just so you can start to keep all your bits together.

Thanks for getting back to me, didnt realise it was only 19 months! Really need to think about saving up then! I really like your idea of having key dates for organisation and it gives you things to look forward to!

We currently live in Spain and work in Gibraltar but i am originally from stoke so wanted to come home to get married. (let me know if you need any ideas for your hen do, we live about 15 mins from Peurto banus).

Have you chosen your menu aswell? we met Annette from top table on Sat and she was really helpful.
