We have been approved!!!!!!!! We are so overjoyed and still in shock. It was a surreal experience to say the least. I don't know how I got from the meeting room to the car........... so very much in a daze.

We are getting Christmas and the New Year out of the way and our social worker will ring us during the first couple of weeks in January to see how we are emotionally in ourselves. So could be anything from 6-8 weeks from then (dependant on how we are of course).

To be honest, 2 of the people who were on our original course, got accepted at panel on 5 November, had a potential match straightaway, started introductions last week and I know one couple are on the way to pick up their baby today and the other couple will have their baby before Christmas.

It can be very quick indeed - EEEEEKKK!!!
