Any Tent Experts?

Royalty, 23 May, 2008 at 16:28 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 6

This may be a stoopid question but....

If i posted a link of a potential new tent would you be able to tell how easy/difficult it was to erect?

Looks pretty straightforward. The poles slide in through the loops in the flysheet, then you have pins at the bottom that you slot into the ends of the poles. This is the only tricky bit, as you have to bend the poles so that you can get them close enough to the pins, IYSWIM.

Since the poles don't cross over and they're colour-coded, it should be reasonably foolproof.

The sort of issues in that review would probably be similar for any large dome tent as they are all constrtcued in pretty much the same way.
