Well remembered!! Yep, well me and my aunt!

I bought the fabrics I wanted, then cut out the flags using pinking shears so they didn't fray. I worked out how big I wanted them by trial and error - mine were about 28cm for each of the long sides of the triangle, and about 20cm along the top. I then arranged them in a random order so I didn't run out of one of the patterns and we didn't end up with loads of the same together.

I then took them to my aunt who is a whizz with the sewing machine!! She sewed them onto the webbing for me - she just did one huge long line of stiching down the whole length of the webbing, putting the flags about 10cm apart, and she sewed and extra string of webbing onto each end for putting it up. I bought narrow webbing - but it would have looked neater to buy really thick webbing and fold it over so there was half on each side of the flag.

It did take a really long time, but I couldn't have afforded to buy the amount I needed - about 100m in the end! But it did look fantastic....

Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions!
