Any Year Twins For 2013?

Me! We are getting married on 5th April 2013! So far, we have only booked the venue, though - although I think I might have booked and sorted everything in about six months, I am LOVING it! xxx

We are July 2013! Which month are you? Im trying to be ultra organised as it isnt one of my strong points haha

Ours will be may 2013 as we dont have 3 full weeks off until the end of 2012.

Wanted to make sure we had the wedding week off and then 2 weeks for Honey Moon.

We are still trying to decide on a venue and have always had our hearts set on Ettington Park Hotel, Near Stratford Upon Avon. But as i work there most weeks it almost seems like a bus mans holiday. Saying that we still love the placve and its still a high contnder. We are just trying to find a venue in the area that ive never worked at before.

Ours is August 2013, we have booked the venue, registra, entertainment and photographer....

I could do more though but trying to pace myself

Mines 27th April 2013, MrsK-2be Im excalty the same trying to not do everything now but im soo excited! Anyone tired on dresses yet? I'm stuggling to find any I think would look nice on me.

I LOVE my venue more because they have basically said "if its legal and ethical we will do it!", I found alot of venues were a bit sticky on rules!! Tall Tress really dont mind! Plus we have a piano bar for the arrival after church, with marble staircase then the afternoon room for a sit down meal, then a room with garden and river area for drinks then my night room!!

Im the same on the dress front...the only dresses I wear are knee length and cant see myself in any 'traditional' long length styles.....like the look of some of the 50s style ones, but just want to try some on and see....BUT again too early I think to fall in love with one!

Your venue sounds lush!Have you thought of a colour scheme yet?

I'm getting married 29th June 2013. Got engaged last summer. So far I have the church booked and my venue (Alnwick Gardens in Northumberland). Haven't actually decided on anything else for certain, but have loads of ideas and have started a wedding file to keep them all in one place (2 years is a long time to remember things!)

ToBeHaswell - I'm just up the road in Newcastle! And I used to live in Boro!! AND my friend's sister had her wedding reception at Tall Trees after she came back from her wedding abroad!!! It's beautiful and a great place for some stunning photos! Small world!

MrsK-2be - Yeah I'm thinking purple I was looking at green at first but purple just seams more me and looks lovely!

I want to try them on now! .. my nana was married in the 50's in a knee length dress it was lovely!! To die for in fact! ill try and get some pics if I can!

MrsFoster2Be - Ohh really it is a small world isnt it! yeah I really love my venue and its going to be mostly re-decorated before our wedding so will be nice and "fresh" .

I looked at a venue in Northumberland but decided it was too far for us which is a shame as Durham seams to have much more choice then boro and some stunning venues!

Mrs K to be... Our Wedding is also in August.. the 2nd. Day before my birthday ? What date is yours?

So far we have all these booked:

Registra, Venue, Photographer, Videographer, Cake, Magician, Boudoir Shoot, Chair Covers, Band and Ceremony Signer/ Pianist in process of organising and Fireworks in the process of organising.

Im trying to pace myself too, find it so hard, all i want to do is book everything. Leaving dress buying till nearer the time, knowing me i will end up changing my mind several times!

Our wedding is the 23rd March 2013, seems so long away but so many people say you can never start too early (except my mum who thinks I am a nutcase!) So far we have booked our reception, church and bell ringers. The next things are the ceilidh/disco and the photographer.

Hi Im in Sunderland! We are having our wedding at Seaham Hall July 2013. Ive just ordered a wedding planner file to start and keep my ideas together I thought it might be a really nice keep sake after the wedding too x

Been skulking about reading forum for a few weeks now as thought wedding was too far off to get involved in chatting but love seeing that there are others out there and how much you've done so far, makes me feel positively un organised!!!

have booked church, got meetings with marquee peeps at end of may, bought most of centrepieces (just cos I saw and loved!)

It'll fly by before you know it ladies!!! I was always adamant that I wanted to be married no later than a year after getting engaged......but then when we got engaged my OH said he loved the idea I'd had about having a Leap year's wedding so in the end it turned out to be 19 months and a day from engagement until wedding. The last 10 months have disappeared in a flash!!!!

Enjoy every minute of the build up to it all, I'm partly a little bit sad that I now have a date when all this side of it will be over, and I'll be a Mrs with no wonderful wedding to plan anymore!

OOOOH! I'm so happy to see so many here getting married in 2013! We are 15th April! Can't wait. Only got registrar & ceremony venue booked so far.

We have spent a long time figuring out money and have realized we can now afford to get married in 2013! A lot of budgeting to afford the wedding we want but we can do it! x

We're getting married in May 2013 :-)

Not set an exact date yet but that's because we're getting married in Rome and we're heading over there in August to check out the civil ceremony venues, once we've picked the venue (only 3 to choose from so won't be too hard hopefully) we'll probably set the specific date and book it there and then. We'll have approximately 20 guests over there we think and a restaurant wedding breakfast and then a simple knees-up in a local venue when we get back. Not too much to "plan" really! I have been looking at dresses on-line but won't be trying on until we get back from our rec trip as I know I'll change my mind too (and I'll have lost more weight by then too!)

Very exciting though!!
