anybody else not doing such a traditional thing?

Traditional i mean not doing speeches or having a sit down dinner? im not gonna do the favours either anyone else missing a few things most weddings have? xx

    My sister is having an afternoon tea and then a hog roast. She's also not having favours as she sees them as a useless added expense!

    I tried hard not to do some of the traditional things; I don't want speeches for example. But my mother is pushing me for them, so some of them are happening anyway...!

    Oh im glad im not the only one lol my aunt is helping me with things an she has mentioned favours and gifts for everyone but i dont want any of these things its gonna cost enough as it is and at the end of the day they will be having a goodtime eating and drinking i dont see the need in gifts for the wedding party as they are all my family anyway. i want people to do as they please an sit where they like lol
