I'm doing SW and I'm also having hpnosis/counselling session as for me, diets have never addressed the reason why I am overweight nor really changed my underlying habits. It's interesting, I've become far more aware of what I'm eating, why I'm eating it and wherther or not I am actually hungry. I've lost 7.5lb since the beginning of the month.

Me to! I was doing lipotrim last year after my gallbladder was removed and manged to lose just under 4 stones. Sadly put it nearly all back on, it is a meal replacement diet which was hard but I did it. I am struggling with it at present can not get back into it at all. H2b has done the cambridge diet he started back on it today same thing meal replacement. It has alot more variety, which looks so much exciting than the lipotrim. Thinking of changing to this as I already use some of the drinks I like to give me more variety. I have joined a gym which I go to 6 times a week and half lost 4 inches all over next measure next Wednesday/Thursday. H2b has bought a exercise bike, cross trainer and all in one gym. My dress is a number of sizes to small so I have till she said July to get it to in. But Meg at the bridal shop is lovely and does her own alterations so I know if I lost more it will be fine.

I am on a similar meal replacement diet that others have mentioned, it's called the Younique programme. I started on it 12 weeks ago and as of Monday 26th I've lost 4stone 2 and a half pounds!!

The wedding isn't until 2010 (not set a specific date yet) but want to have lost and be maintaining by then.

I haven't seen my family since Oct when I was at my heaviest so when my brother comes on holiday at the start of next month he is sure to get a shock. I sent them my before and interim photos they did on Monday as a sort of pre warning of what to expect but will hopefully be lighter for his visit and for when I see my mum in May!

May even be able to start looking at dresses properly then!! Whoo hoo!!

Am not on diet as such as am fairly slim - 5'8, about 9.5 stone, size 10-12 BUT I normally eat rubbish and burn it off at the gym 3 times a week.

Am trying to eat more healthily though so that my skin looks amazing - water!!! And going to gym just to keep in shape - am slimmer than I've ever been but my dress is a slinky number so terrified I will get too big for it Especially when my dad's first comment on seeing me in my dress was " that looks a bit tight, are you going to lose weight..."

    Thanks dad!!

    Im dieting!

Would like to lose a few stone... If I can et down to a size 14 then I would be happy! Ideally, by the wedding in June, I would like to be a 12/14 or 14/16, and hopefully be about a 10 by Xmas!

Im doing it by hard work on the cross trainer every day and eating more healthily Smiley smile

Have lost a stone in a month!

I'm on a diet too, but it's nothing to do with the wedding (and getting fed up with people assuming it is to be honest!!). Dp was perfectly happy with me the way I was, it's all down to me really. I was always really skinny (8/10) and could eat anything, then my first marriage went seriously wrong and I comfort ate my way through a horrendous divorce!! Ended up at a size 16.

I started back at the gym last summer, and was toning up but not losing weight, so started slimming world a while ago. I've lost 16lbs now and it's making a huge difference!! I love sw because I never feel hungry and, within reason, can pretty much eat what I want!

I've dieted before and not succeeded, not sure why it's working this time. I seem to have more will power and also dp is soooo supportive!

    C xx
