Your music should still be on the computer. Click on to my music, and then look in the itunes folder.

If they are still showing in your purchased list on your itunes library, I would have thought they'd still be on your computer. You should have got a warning message about whether to delete files from the library if you'd deleted them from that. Did you get any messages? Is it just that they've vanished from the ipod? Have you tried dragging songs out of the purchased list onto the ipod icon to see if you can re-add them to the ipod?

It sounds like you've somehow emptied the ipod playlist and when you've then synced the ipod, it's deleted all the songs from the ipod.

The music is all gone. The purchased songs are not being shown on the purchased songs- I can only see the purchases when I log on to itunes account and see the receipts for them. If they're there can I get them back somehow? Im so so so frustrated.

*Edited* Sorry, took way to long to post.

So, you've no idea what the message said? And you've done a library search for the songs?

Do you still have the hard drive for the previous computer or did you back it up?

I know La Psycho (I think) had this happen and I think she managed to talk apple/itunes into letting her have them again or something like that.

This is my biggest issue with purchasing tracks from itune, digital data can so easily be lost.
