Anyone been to a most haunted live?

fifiminx, 7 January, 2009 at 11:59 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 12

Oh loves this programme and has managed to get 2 tickets for the one next week.

Has anyone been? Just wondering if I'm going to be sitting around for x amount of hours freezing cold listening to Yvette screaming all the time.

Thanks

I've never been, but would like to go just for the experience.

I know it is all one big con and for "entertainment purposes only". My eyes were opened to it all when I found this site

and it tells a lot of what REALLY happens!

Have fun - from what I have seen of the live shows, you will need to wrap up really warm.

I thought about it when they came to where H works, but I thought the laughs at the comedy "ghosts" would be a bit too few and far between for an entire night spent freezing.

Yes we went to Beaulie (sp) Abbey back in 2003 I think. Before they had big warm studios we were in a marquee on the grounds.

From what I remember it was ok, Hubby even had a wee next to Matthew ??

We lost interest in paranormal stuff not long after. We used to use infa-red cameras, esp? things, do seances, table tipping etc and be really into it.

Enjoy it, it seems its now a lot bigger set up than it used to be.

Thats what I thought. I've seen the clips on you tube of some of the footage they dont usually screen and that was funny, Ah well I guess I'd better dig out the thermals. He's accompanying me to Take That so I'll go to this...

Thanks for that. I know OH will love it, we recently spent a weekend in a castle near Liverpool and he spent most of the early hours wandering the corridors in the dark hoping to see something. ?

We used to stay in loads of haunted hotels especially York, The Golden Fleece, before Most Haunted went there with Scott Mills. We caught loads of orbs on camera but not much else.

No I think I remember that being on Most Haunted though.

We have stayed at the Golden Slipper, Goodramgate, York and Old Hall in Sandbach, Cheshire which has also been on MH. That one was good as the owners let Hubby and his mate go up in the loft and film (whilst I went to bed on my own and watched Poltergiest!!), they had to sign some paperwork first though lol. Hubby acted right gay so he deleted the footage! We did a seance there and the glass was moving all the table.

I cant remember if we have stayed anywhere else, dont think so.

York is a great place for haunted buildings, the Ghost walks and of course the shopping!

    Oh cool,

The Golden Fleece is probably the best place to stay, in the Minster Suite, it looks over the shambles but costs £90 per person per night I think, the prices went up quite a lot after it was featured on Most Haunted.

Its our favourite place to visit so i hope you enjoy it too.
