Burger King - they do a tripple whopper there! ?

I pretty much spent the whole weekend drunk, and went with a group of lads so can't recommend any "nice" places to eat. The nightlife is awesome though, you'll have a blast!

We went to a lovely restaurant called the Winding Stair. It is quite laid back with lots of mismatched furniture and a rustic feel, but the food was exceptional. You would need to book as it very highly thought of and gets booked up well in advance. Here is the website:

Also, whilst being a bit of a cliche, the guiness factory tour is great!

Hope you have a great time x

If you're looking for somewhere special (and pricey) then Shanahan's on the Green is meant to be amazing.

Will see if I can get some recommendations from my sister who lives there for you.

I have to recommend a place called Cafe en Seine. It's an amazing art deco bar near Trinity College that turns in to a nightclub later on.

Worth popping in during the day or for a lively evening.

    This is my favourite place.

I would recommend having a look on Tripadvisor for recommendations of places to go for dinner.

Ooo will keep an eye on this. Going to Dublin on our minimoon ?

Went with old uni housemates once as it was £5 return on the plane. I can recommend the tourist attractions!

Ranelagh is a suburb of Dublin, not too far out ( maybe 7 minutes) and you can get on the Luas( the tram) to get there. There is a gorgeous tapas restaurant there called La Bodega, and there are loads of nice bars and other restaurants.

Closer into Dublin on Leeson Street, maybe a 5 minute walk from Stephens green is a really traditional pub called M O'Briens,http://www.m-obriens.ie/ you will get a proper pint of Guiness here- way better than the guiness factory IMO. It's a proper local pub, but IMO you get to really see true Dublin in here as it isn't full of tourists. Over the road is a tiny restaurant that is amazing, https://www.canalbankcafe.ie/

The Temple Bar area is very expensive for drinks. A lot of restuarants do early bird meals which work out quite reasonable though.

Shanahans is an amazing restaurant but very expensive. I would say at leaset €200 for dinner for 2. However, they also do an earky bird which is a bit cheaper.

Thaere are some great pubs & bars around Camden Street/Harcourt Street which is near Stephens Green. It would be less touristy there so drinks more reasonably priced. Some other restaurants around there would be Brasserie 66, Rustic Stone & Peploes.
