Anyone else finding writing a guest list hard?

Hi, the hardest part about writing mine was my OH! We are supposed to be having a small wedding and yet he wants to invite people he's not seen for 15 years - that is no exaggeration, his actual closing words were 'well that's if he's still alive' !!!!! But I'm worried about who will or won't come too, because I live near Manchester but friends and family are scattered everywhere, Essex, Lincolnshire, east Yorkshire, somerset and Spain!!!

I've been pretty brutal - I wanted it small but 60 at the church & 150 in the evening - id cut 40 of them off as they are H2Bs work mates & their plus 1s (apparently if you invite one you have to invite all of them!! Grrrrr)

Yes and hindsight is a wonderful thing! Wish I hadn't bothered inviting some selfish people and had invited other lovely ones! Don't stress about it too much though, if you give them a rough idea you're not actually committed to anything until you give final numbers a few weeks before
