Anyone else get lulls and highs? Flash if you're on a high!

MummyMoo82, 23 July, 2012 at 14:41 Posted on Planning 0 5

This week I seem to be on a high of wedding planning. I have found a great cake supplier, photographer now officially booked, plus I have discovered an awesome idea for something to go on the tables to break the ice for the guests. I have also ordered some sweet dispensers to use instead of a buffet and they are so COOL. <inserting a FLASH!>

I am so excited!

However, I am still waiting for our invites to be finished and sent to us so we can then send them out. I have 99% finished the inserts, but still need to print them off and do some tweaking.

EEk. Just very excited!

Are you very excited about anything? Want to flash?

Loving your enthusiasm....especially as i think i'm having a bit of a wedding downer at the minute. I keep on wobbling about my dress and thinking it needs a bit more bling, maybe a blingy sash, but then think that would ruin the dresses simplicity- i'm having essence d1264 in ivory but without the straps.

I also cant decide on the colour scheme, originally we were going to go for a summery bright purple and hot pink but we went to the venue again yesterday and noticed the colour of the carpet is green. H2B then tells me he'd prefer a turquoisy colour as he wants it to match the fact the venue is on a lovely pond and he prefers the colour, but we could still have that with purples. Decisions decisions....

I also cant decide about favours....i was thinking possibly a personalised coaster for everyone, not with photos or anything as i think thats a bit tacky but maybe an image of the scenery around the venue.

When is your wedding btw? x

    96 days to go!

Our colour scheme is "autumnal". You can have greens, purples and pinks if it's all quite pastel?

I am LOVING these! Where are they from?!

I'm having a total lull, no idea what to do at the moment, still seems way too far away for me to do anything!

    I'm on a high!!

And I cant really even plan anything yet as we have to save most of the money first! summer 2014 for me.

But i think i've decided on a short wedding dress becuase i love shoes and i want to spend more on shoes than i do a dress! and i'd like them to be seen.

I would flash if i knew how to! =(

Flashing is easy! Just click on the reply bit and at the top of where you write the message you have the icons for bold, itallic, underline and smilies. 2 to the left of the smily face is one that looks like a film strip after one of a tree, just click on the film strip (shows 'insert media' if you hover with your mouse) and it brings up the box to browse through your computer files x

Good old eBay. I have pretty much got everything from there! I got 2 and made sure they are set to 'free' as I didn't want my guests to either pay, or to put a stack of 20ps there for people to use! I may re-sell both after the wedding, or give one to my brother (usher) and sell the other. Now I just have to make sure I don't eat all the sweets before the wedding!
