Hey

I'm getting married here in May and just wondered if there are many other hitchers who are getting married here too? x

Well, actually it's only our reception we're having there as we're having a church ceremony.

    Hi,

We very nearly booked this! Its a goreous barn and the staff all seem so lovely and helpful. Good wedding package aswell. We went for something a little closer in the end.

We went to view it, it's gorgeous! We only didn'tc hoose it because we knew someone else has been married there that a few of our guests had been to. But lovely venue and the couple that run it are great x

Yay! Glad I have found a couple of others that are too :-) NatA2013 you don't have long to go at all, you will have to let us know how it all goes!

Those that are getting married/having reception there, are you using their own DJ and what caterers are you using? Just be interested to know if we are the same :-) They have been really helpful so far with any questions we've had - I'm looking forward to when we get to go back and have our meetings nearer to the wedding. We have about 4 and a 1/2 months to go until ours and by the time we get married it would have been 2 years since we booked it! We only looked at a few venues and decided Crabbs Barn was perfect as soon as we saw it. We don't live that far from it but have never been to a wedding there before. We know a few people who have been to weddings there and they have all said what a great venue it was and how good the staff were etc. Starting to get excited now! xx

We are using their DJ but have also booked a band (an awesome chap from work actually).

We are using JLS catering (Jamie Lee Smith) and have had a tasting at their kitchens in Suffolk. YUM! better than some restaurants. Jamie says that he is regularly used by the Barn for other events and parties they hold so that filled us with confidence too. We're not getting married till Sept so am looking forward to your wedding report and pics!

I don't think you can go too far wronG with Crabbs Barn. It's a lovely relaxed venue, perfect for a sunny day Smiley smile

The staff are excellent and it's got some lovely backdrops for photography, the most important thing, of course!

    Pete x

    £15,000. If it was £1500 I wouldn't be complaining!
