Anyone else still having probs with Hitched?

absolutely awful. been trying for half an hour to open threads and reply to one post.

hope they fix it soon otherwise we'll lose people which would be a shame - if I was new on this forum I probably wouldn't bother. but now I'm hooked I'll probably keep trying, hehe.

I persevered cos I'm off work sick and need an alternative to daytime tv - but it'll be annoying if it doesn't speed up again!

Yup, slow slow slow! I dont post as much because of it, which is annoying.

Not sure if they are or aren't really? I know this much for sure, I'm glad I'm not paying to advertise anymore! Newcomers won't know it's slow to load and they'll just go to other forums.

I am actually getting really really angry now with the damn speed of this thing. Hitched are gonna start losing some serious business soon if they don't get it sorted. I will defect if they pull their finger out and sort it out.

I've tried to log on twice today and lost patience, it's soooo slow!

I'm getting peed off with it now too. Thought they'd fixed it!!!!!

The last 3 times now I have had the following messages "Server not responding" "Site off line" "Oops there is a problem, please contact the site administrator"

Is there any wonder that both hitchers and small businesses are leaving this site in droves? Ok, we may not be the most important people in the owners of Hitched's lives but the small businesses who do advertise on here (I no longer do because I was frustrated at the lack of customer service i.e., no replies to emails, no reminder of when subscriptions were due and removal of customer ratings on my advert without notice etc and the layout of the directory) are surely entitled to the same amount of courtesy as the larger companies? Without the small businesses and the Brides who hitch on here to start with, there wouldn't be a Hitched!

My loyalty to Hitched has sadly been lost after this week's poor service. it has been going downhill for months now & nothing has been done to boost the site at all. I remeber coming here & posting every day, now I don't even bother trying to log on.

Maybe the big advertisers are paying more & get a better service, at then end of the day it was the small advertisers who lined the pockets in the beginning. I for one can't even be bothered to post nowadays. I belong to lots of other forums & this one is last on the list when I log on now.

I tried about 3/4 times yesterday to open the Discussion forum then gave up for a couple fo hours, tried again and it took me about 7 tries again to get in and guess what the first post was that caught my eye/..."site down for maintenance at 5pm" or something. People that know me know that I don't normally come here until after 10 at night (except for today cos I'm off)

This site is getting worse, the priorities are completely up the left, they are more worried about complaints from "outside organisations" and advertisers than what they are about us b2b's who keep them in business...this must be the upteenth post about hitched slowness and difficulty getting on and still nothing gets done.

Hitched is definately going downhill!.

P.S. this is my 2nd attempt to post this cos connection was lost (even though I was still connected to the internet!)

Finally I've managed to log onto Hitched properly! I tried on and off yesterday but with no joy and then last night it was down.
