Anyone else studying today?

swedish leprechaun, 9 August, 2009 at 13:16 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 10

It is truely gorgeous outside and I am stuck inside trying to get some of my thesis done - it is going so slowly and there aren't that many weekends left until November 25th! argh

Anyone going through the pain of studying today? Misery loves company and all that ?

I am meant to be, but my course is so hard and the workload is so unbearable I have kind of given up. I might do some later although there is no way I can catch up enough to get my assignment in on time. Feel a bit crap about it really... <self indulgent whine>

Instead I have put 8 pairs of jeans on e Bay ?

Doughnut - at least you will be getting money from your endeavours ? Am sorry to hear abgout your course as I thought you were enjoying the rest of it. Is there anyway you can just scrape through this one and move onto the others?

I was really struggly with a course before Christmas and passed it with 3% to spare but have done much better with all the other courses (even won a bursary I found out this week) and hopefully will finish in November (if I ever do anything today...)

I can't see past this programming module at the moment. I was doing so well the first semester with amazing marks (for me!) I've taken next semester off as we've just moved house and need to get the place sorted - it has damp problems and needs total refurbishment. I'm not sure I'm going to carry on though. If I can pass this I can get a Pg Cert, or go back in Jan and spend another 18 months and £4k finishing the Masters....!

Great news, and finishing in Nov will be brilliant. Well done. Now GET OFF HITCHED and get back to it! ?

I am kind of attempting to study. Am doing a distance learning Social Work degree, and am struggling to find the motivation for my next essay. Am at work today, but all my visits to people this afternoon have been cancelled, but I don't finish till eight, so I'm going to try and get some work in before tea time when I need to go feed some people! Hate having to study whilst the sun shines, it seems to be how I spend my weekends and evenings nowadays.

I studied all morning. I tend to get up a couple of hours before the husband at weekends to get some done before he gets up and starts annoying me ?, feeling quite motivated at the moment cos i got 92% for my last essay, and only 1 more block and an end of course review and I can move on to a subject I actually want to do (I'm doing an OU degree and i'm on the compulsory module at the mo)

I hope you've managed to get out in the sun at some point.

Well done to everyone who managed something today - not easy.

I managed to write up the section I had planned so can now go and sit out - the prod from Doughnut did the trick ?

Here's hoping our grades will reflect the fact we stayed in when it was nice weather today ...

I really should have been, have had a couple of weekends off and didn't do nearly enough to catch up yesterday, whoops! At least my next assignment isn't due until 4 September and I've got a week off before then, however, I really don't want to spend it cramming so I will have to pull my finger out next week i think ?

I put 17 items on e Bay, saw the in laws and cycled 16 miles. No studying done though ? I hate the compulsory modules!
