Anyone fancy a bank holiday good/bad thread?

Good - I'm on leave this weekend from work.

Good - It's my friends hen do in Brighton.

Good - Booking flights this weekend to Chicago as managed to get a place in the marathon in October, eeeeek!

Bad - Only one bad, my legs are still injured and i pulled my neck at the gym yesterday, so Deep Freeze spray and ibuprofen for me this weekend.

Nice one Holey, I was just thinking of posting one of these, haven't seen one in a while!

Good - After working my a$$ off for the last few weeks, I'm having a three and a half day weekend. Working this morning but chilling out this afternoon.

Good - Got a new client a month ago, sent her a whacking great big invoice yesterday and she's promised me lots more work, which is great news for the wedding fund.

Bad - Doing so much work has meant I haven't done any proper housework/cleaning and it's starting to really get to me, the house is a tip and I probably need to spend my 3 1/2 days tidying and cleaning.

Bad - Finally got a letter after I went to see the clinical genetics consultant to say I will have an appointment with a psychologist in EIGHT MONTHS...

Good - H2B and I are starting to make headway in wedding plans and DIY/decor bits, which is really exciting ?

Good - long weekend!

Bad - OH is working nights all weekend

Good - did legs, bums and tums class night and I'm feeling the burn! Which isn't great but surely means I worked hard so I'm taking that as a positive!

Good - lost another 3lb this week bringing me to under 14 stone for the first time in a very long time

Good - finished my training and received my certificate - ready to volunteer!!

Good - little man scored a goal in his hockey match yesterday - proud mummy moment

Bad - little man took a hit to the head with a hockey stick - worried mummy moment!

Good - went for my first walk in 3 weeks, thoroughly enjoyed it

Bad - sprained ankle not quite recovered, pain today ☹️

Good - 3 days off work. Yay!

Good - going to FSIL and FBIL's for dinner tonight, which will mean cuddles with our 18n month old nephew.

Bad/Good - Lender wouldn't lend to us for reasons outside of our control, which meant back to square one with the mortgage. Good that another lender has been particularly sympathetic and will try to do things for us as quickly as possible.

Related good/bad - this will hopefully mean we are homeowners soon, although it might all go through while we are in wedding week and/or on honeymoon - just what we were trying to avoid!

Good - Three day weekend!

Bad - Oh is working two of those.

Good - We're off with friends to the Chili fest on Monday

Good / bad - Hair and makeup trial tonight, kinda nervous about it though.

Bad - House has been taken over by wedding stuff, we have no room and still 4 months to go!

Good - OH has a weeks holiday starting 7am on Sunday morning

Good - My wee one is FINALLY getting the hang of potty training

Good - We had food delivered so we can stop living off beans on toast haha

Bad - I work in a supermarket so i'll be in Saturday, Sunday and Money

Good I've gone back to my old job role so I am now working nearly normal people hours and I get every weekend off bar one Saturday morning in four so get to see hubby more again. They are fixed hours so can get my weight loss back on track

Good we had a second viewing of our house last night and he's extreme interested to the point he was planning where his stuff will go.

Bad the estate agent is pretty poor at chasing feedback and we know he's away this weekend so long wait till Tuesday.

Good I'm eating falafel

Bad- Won't get to go out and do anything as H has exams soon so he'll be revising

Bad(ish)- That probably means I have time to clean the house, something I'm not a fan of at all!

Good- It means I can paint my nails and potter on hitched

Good - It's been a nice day so I went for a walk at lunch time

Good - I've been back at the gym and feeling motivated to get on with my tough mudder training again!

Good - We've found our piper and are making really good progress with weddingy things

Good - Got an email to say we're getting a pay rise, woohoo!

Bad - I'm on duty from 9am today until 5.30pm on Monday and OH is working every day too!

Good - going back to the house we're hoping to buy which will hopefully restore my enthusiasm for the move which has been lacking due to the mortgage being a bit difficult.

Good - godchild's christening

Good - got next Tuesday off :-)

Good: Night out tonight with some good friends for Sushi and Fizz.

Good: Long weekend which both h2b and I are both off

Good: Off to see our friends for the evening tomorrow.

Good: Taking H2B on a driving lesson.

Bad: Have to drive tomorrow 100 miles so H2B can watch the boxing with his BM (don’t mind taking him but driving bores me alot haha!)

Good - had transition meetings for when my son starts high school in Sept. He has anxiety issues, so they have arranged extra days to go in, on top of the other days they all do in june. These will hopefully make him a bit more comfortable, and have put my mind at rest.

Bad - Having a child ready for high school makes me feel old.

Good - Birthday Prep is going well. I am basically having a kids party. Full on Hello Kitty theme. It's not until July, so I am essentially spending longer (and more money) on my party, than I did on my wedding, ha.

Bad - damaged my foot, and I haven't been able to walk properly for 2 weeks now.

Good - long weekend with my boys and H, who has been away all week. We've got his kids though, so I am praying they behave. Can do without the stress.

Good - my son took part in a St Georges day parade last weekend, with the Scouts. He got special recognition for it this week, was very proud.

Bad - nightmare cases with deadlines on Tuesday when I go back to wotk.

Good - we are off to Somerset tomorrow to see parents in law and friends.

Bad - leaving our cat on her own with the electric feeder and friends and neighbours popping in. Guilty cat mummy!

Bad: I have RSI in my right arm/hand n it kills (and yet I'm still on the tablet?! I have problems!!) there's just so many boys n bobs I wanna look at/buy online I need to use it :-/

Bad: my PC has died a death. It was very old so I suppose it was inevitable but I was really hoping it could hold out until at least I had finished my dental treatments - I can't afford to replace it for at least 3 months. Had to remove the music editing line from my sig in the meantime. Sadface.

Good - it's a bank holiday and I don't have to work!

Bad - we were supposed to be going to visit my friend and her new baby and have a catch up with a group of uni friends, but host friend is poorly so we've had to cancel.

Good - instead went out for dinner with H last night, tried 4 different places before we got to anywhere with space, and had some yummy Slovakian food, which is a new one for me.

BAD: 11 hour day Friday and a 14 hour day today at work

BAD: Inlaws are descending on us AGAIN

BAD: House is filthy from building and garden work

BAD: I have eaten too much crap lately

GOOD: Work on the house is coming together nicely

GOOD: Off all of next bank holiday weekend

GOOD: I have been good at the gym lately, pushing myself and a nice mix of stuff

GOOD: We went out for a nice dinner last night. Which British Gas paid for over half over -compensation for them messing us around and providing crap service
