    Oh emm gee indeed!

Nearly sorted- got to confirm food order and pay rest of car hire, hire other car for rest of the day, try and lose a bit of weight so I can fit in my dress properly, learn to walk in heels, do the gift list, finish making the favours and invitations (everyone knows, we just want them as a keepsake)and need to choose wedding rings!

I think in 2 weeks time we'll be sorted apart from the weight and the 'what to do after the cake'- we are having a registry office, then reception, then in laws house for cake....nothing planned after !

Am getting a bit stressed, but will be okay. I hope!

    xxxx

Can everyone chill at the parent's house? my sis had the same - the extended family went back to her OH's parents house - they had cake, and some games (also pool etc but they have that in the house anyway....) and later had a spread at home - leftovers from the wedding buffet and some extra bits like coffee. It was really nice and no one was bored - people spent time talking to family they haven't seen for a while and over all was a very nice atmosphere. they also had a videographer going rounds interviewing couples in the family on how they met and advise for the new couple.

Chill isn't quite the word....my FIL has dementia and won't be at ceremony or meal so we are having the cake with him. They have a tiny house and we will alll be squashed into a small sitting room. There's 11 of us in total but will still be quite tight and difficult with him more than likely going to complain about us invading! I think we will be there 2 hours max....am sure it will work out.
