Anyone going for a birdcage veil?

HLT, 1 April, 2012 at 22:37 Posted on Planning 0 5

I've just ordered one but pondering what will happen after the ceremony? Would I remove it, or adjust it? Am I right in thinking veils are usually removed after the ceremony part?

I'm toying with the idea but I'm having probs with how to have my hair atm so I might not. I was planning on just removing because I'd feel silly. But I've seen some that look lovely changed to different possition. I think the one Venart is planning on is beautiful.

I'm having a birdcage veil, it will be detatchable from my headpiece. I will probably keep it on for drinks reception and photos and take it off for the meal and onwards.

Im having one and will probably take it off after the ceremony. I have seen one with a detachable bow backed with birdcage netting so you can still sport some birdcage veil after taking the veil off.
