Anyone got a LG or Sony Erricson mobile?

I was only ever a Nokia girl until I decided to try a Sony Ericsson - I would never have anything else now. I found it very user friendly and am now on my 3rd or 4th Sony. I've just looked at the Sony you've given the link to and it is very similar to mine - I have have the S500i and I really really like it. It take the odd photo/film but mostly text and it's absolutely fine.

I love SE phones and have had one for the past 5 years or so. However the steaming pile of shit that I am lumbered with now is making me change my mind ?

I have an LG Prada phone and absolutely love it. Its the first phone I've considered NOT upgrading when my contract is up! However, I've had Sony Ericsson phones in the past and they are also excellent.

My last three phones have been Sony, I love them, much to my BIL's annoyance as he works for Nokia.

The one I have now, it's k something or other, was due for an upgrade a year ago, but I've not bothered and gone onto the O2 Simplicity tariff.

I've got the Sony Ericcson W595 - I upgraded a few weeks ago from the most rubbish pile of poo Sony you've ever seen. However, the W595 is great - I've found it simple to use and it feels robust (some of the others in the shop felt very flimsy and plasticky).

My last 3 or 4 phones have been SE and I wouldn't go for anything else anymore - okay so it's partly because I'm too lazy to learn a new system. Battery life on my current one is particularly good.

Hi, I've had both SE & LG & both are easy to use. I just changed contracts back to Orange & have gone for the LG again & I love it, super easy to use.

Also, not sure if you'd be interested, but I used a website called www.mobiles.co.uk & got a free Xbox 360 Elite! They have loads of free gifts on there, laptops, Ipods etc & they both got delivered free the next day!!

I upgraded from a nokia to a sony ericcson last week and I love it so far, it seems really well made and its very easy to use mines a K660i

Thanks everyone for your replies. I think I will go and see both in the shop, I am steering more towards the SE but purely because I am confused with this touch screen malarky on the LG. Doesnt take much I can tell you !

I've had both a SE and an LG, I hated the LG. The touch screen was too sensitive and was a pita for me, plus it was a nightmare to text on and predictive text was rubbish. I send a lot of texts, so this was a big factor for me. I actually got rid of it sooner than I needed to and got my SE which is so much better.

I had an LG and I did quite like it, but if all you use it for really is texting then don't bother. The texting is horrible. It's why I upgraded.

I had the LG and hated it. Texting was a nightmare, the touch screen was too sensitive and it always looked covered in finger prints?? I have had a SE and quite liked it but lost it in a taxi/bus. I have gone back to cheap and cheerful Motorola, but also due an upgrade in December

I'm on my 3rd Sony and its fab. Go for it.
