Anyone got any good recipes for fishcakes?

I don't really use a recipe tbh. Flake the fish and mix with an equal amount of mashed potato, season (you can add chopped capers, parsley, lemon zest, shallot etc). Shape into cakes, flour, egg and breadcrumb, and chill for an hour or so before you cook them.

I love fishcakes, I should amke them more often.

Hmmm capers, haven't had those for a while so I think I'll have to throw a few in!

My step Dad wants wedges with them, argh. Am I the only one to find it strange to have potatoes with a potato based dish?

Anyway, I ALWAYS include chopped capers and gherkins to give a bit of a kick.
