anyone have a large chest?!

naomiowen, 30 January, 2010 at 11:43 Posted on Planning 0 12

? sorry to be so crude but atm im a size 16 (down from 20, whoop, whoop!) and am planning on being a size 14 by the time i get married,

the problem is i am a 38g/38gg as my boobs wont shrink!lol and im finding it REALLY difficult to find a basque that has amazing support, but with not a full cup as my dress sits lower and holds in my jelly belly in AND needs to be under £50, tried ebay, bravvisimo etc but does anyone have one that they know from experience is all these things and themselves is big boobied?!lol

Is this no good naomi? http://www.bravissimo.com/products/lingerie/bodies-and-basques/panache/basques/pnf1-details.aspx?colour=black&ck=y2ZPi1BMYCY%3d

I know you said you tried bravissimo but this is only £40 and comes in your size - and in white!

Well done on the weight loss!

Can't hurt to order and see? I'm sure they have a returns policy but check that out first?

Also, your dress will help support you too even if that doesn't feel like you are supported enough without it?

Im currently in the same situation! Im a size 12 with a 32H chest! I need something that will give me full support!!

Although hopefully, I have been given the go ahead by my doctors surgery to have a breast reduction! Just waiting for my next appointment for my date! But this means that I have got to wait a while to try on dresses unless i get one that fits everywhere but the chest area!???

Have you tried fantasie? (Sorry dont know website) I'm a size 12/14 and a 32f. They had some lovely ones last time I looked on figleaves. Not sure if they'll still be on there, as it was a couple of months ago when I looked, but you could always try googling them for their site

    xx

DON'T GET THE ONE FROM BRAVISSIMO !!!

I got it as im as 34FF/G and I went for my first fitting on mon and it was awful. It kept falling down at the front and crepping up at the back and push all of my flab up over the dress and it offered no support whatsoever. I was so very dissapointed. The seamtress has told me not to get another basque as they look awful under my boned dress and to get a padded/ supportive strapless bra. I've ordered 2 from Ultimo at debenhams, one is a bridal one so I'm hoping this will do and I have also ordered the ava bra as replacement from Bravissimo. If none of these work then I'll be stuck too.

Excellent weight loss, thats impressive, well done ?

Just thought I would update you on the bra situation. I ordered two from Debenhams and one is perfect. Its from ultimo and is called bridal and I think it goes up to a G (know this isn't much use to you Naomiowen at the mo).

What I was thinking tho was that you prob need to get re measured as you've lost a lot of weight so your back size could be smaller and the cup size too. I would recommend getting fitted at either Bravissimo or John Lewis.

I went into the Bravissimo Shop in cardiff yesterday and she asked if I had bones in my dress and as I did she told me not to buy a corset as it will be hard to line up and will make the dress really uncomfortable.

She tried pushig me towards this vile plain bra, I did explain that it was my wedding and wanted something lacy and sexy. I didnt buy anything from there in the end.
