Anyone in Luton/ Caddington?

Hi there, sorry for a snow question but I was wondering if any of you could tell me what the roads are actually like in Luton/ Caddington? I'm meant to be going to visit my mates there tonight from London and am wondering if I should cancel because of the weather?

    The roads are ok - well main roads - mostly slushy - the side roads and obviously residential streets are still covered in snow. Main A5 into Caddington is fine and M1 has no delays - said J10 was dodgy earlier but that appears to have gone now . Trains are running now on First capital connect.

    I was goign to say the same as Marmite - the main roads are okay, just a bit slushy but the side roads are still a bit dodgy. It's still snowing quite a bit though so not sure how it will be when the temperature drops more.

    Thanks both of you. My OH needs to get from Essex to Caddington so along M1 I guess, I'll tell h im to look out on the more country roads near Caddington then!

    Cheers, If we get snowed in there this weekend I suppose it's no great problem!
