I'm trying to locate some shelf brackets, I saw them in a magazine but they were just in the background of someone's living room. Basically how they work is it's a long piece of metal in a U shape with short legs, so it screws to the wall above, bends out at 90 degrees and goes across the top of the shelf, wraps round the end, back under the shelf, 90 degree bend and then screws into the wall above. Sort of like a floating shelf only a bit stronger and you can see the attachments, but not a standard L-shaped bracket.
I tried to do a pic but the formatting won't let me! Just wondering if anyone's seen or got anything like this - I've searched fruitlessly on homebase, wickes, screwfix etc websites but don't know if they've got a proper name to search for. ? for any ideas!
