Anyone know how i can find a venue/field or whatever to put a marquee in Kent.

I had the same issue for my wedding, and opted for the Room in the Rodings - it is on the Hertfordshire and Essex Border, which I appreciate is not in Kent - but it was perfect! You could even get married in their meadow!

We are having a Marquee Wedding on a piece of land we own, nr Langley Maidstone, the only problem as it is basically just field , is everything we want and need has to be hire/ taken to the field, of course adding to the over all cost greatly, i am spending so long looking for suppiers and then having found them looking for cheaper suppiers!!. Starting to think a Venue with a marquee on site may well of been easier not to mention cheaper!!

HI poppyseed are you interested in hiring your field out for me to use for my wedding havent got a date yet. I no what you mean abbout looking for suppliers etc but the cost of hiring a place with marquee already in place is about the same as a normal venue and at least with a marquee you can decorate how you want it, which is what i like about it. The marquee company or catering companies should provide you with most of what you need. i no a caterer that provides most things and if not knows someone who can and is resonable in price also does hog roast. if interested and want to chat to him just to get an idea of his prices email me at *********@*******.**.** and i will give you his contact details.
